Flight School: Finding Your Flavors is a 60-minute interactive beer education session led a Certified Cicerone® (think beer sommelier).
We taste four different beers while discussing how varieties in beer’s main ingredients (water, barley, hops and yeast) contribute to the wide range of flavors found in beer. We get hands-on with the ingredients and have some fun interactive quizzes and tests for everyone to take part in. There’s no beer-snobbery involved in our classes, we discuss things in plain English, make it easy to understand the wonderful world of beer and welcome all questions. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of beer styles and flavors to help them find the beers that best suit their palate.
All attendees also receive a Finding Your Flavors “cheat sheet” that they can take home.
Altitude Beer Ventures provides and arranges for all educational materials, space at the brewery, the 4 beer flight (2 oz tasters); a 20 oz pint of beer and a 10-15 min private brewery tour.
